Summer Garden

The Farmer's Market has been displaying the first signs of spring flowers for a few weeks now, so I've been thinking lately about what I want to put in the garden this year.

Last summer I expanded on my herb garden, moving all my rosemary, thyme, basil and sage from pots into a sunny plot, and this year I'll probably add even more - parsley, lots of chives and lots more russian sage. I had miserable luck growing several varieties of mesclun and spring mix lettuce, so I'm going to stick to herbs in the culinary part of things.


As for flowers, I'm looking to these images for inspiration:
