It looks like Karl's alone on this one. Introducing, the suddenly-ubiquitous fashion sweatpant. The skinnification of sweatpants was bound to happen after leggings and jeggings became all the rage. Designers from Ralph Lauren and J.Crew to Alexander Wang and Isabel Marant have hopped on board this one - that's a lofty bunch of defeatists! Obviously le Karl has no idea you can have your cake and eat it too. (Being Karl, he would probably frown upon that very idea.)
